What difference does the Gospel make?
The CCO ministry at Youngstown State University is looking this question in the eyes. We believe that the Gospel changes everything! Therefore, we are discussing how the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how His model of ministry can and needs to influence everything we do.
CCO staff member Garret White, in partnership with the YSU Community/Church Board, is intentionally meeting with students to help them see how Jesus Christ desires to impact all things.
In a 2003 study, the Barna Research Group revealed a stunning statistic that continues to reverberate throughout the evangelical world: only nine percent of professing Christians have a biblical worldview. To address this need, the CCO ministry at YSU meets every Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Kilcawley Student Center at YSU using Focus on the Family‘s The Truth Project® as an in-depth Christian Worldview Experience. As He has throughout history, God continues to call ordinary people to make an eternal difference in our world.
