CCO staff worker Bob Robinson ministers to students at Kent State University’s Stark campus in partnership with Jackson Friends Church, where he serves as Pastor for College Students and Young Adults. On campus, he helps students in the “Rooted in Faith” fellowship group, which meets on Thursdays from 5-6pm in Room 17 of the Fine Arts Building for worship, Bible study, outreach and fellowship.

Bob also facilitates The Journey, a small-group discussion on faith as it relates to academic studies and vocation and meets each week with student leaders for disciple training.

On Tuesday nights at 7PM at Jackson Friends Church, Bob hosts students in The Java House and Bistro for “The Gathering” for friendships, worship, food, fun, and biblical discussions on important topics. Bob also serves as the Venue Pastor for Jackson Friends Church’s “Current Worship” on Sunday mornings at 11AM, featuring biblical preaching matched with the the latest in worship music.

Bob can be found most of the time in the KSU Campus Center getting to know students. He also hangs out over at Starbucks and Panera Bread at The Strip, talking with students over a cup of coffee or lunch.
